THE SANDVELD MUSEUM: The museum houses 15 different exhibits e.g. Old Lamberts Bay; HMS Sybille; Archaeological Display etc.

STEENBOKSFONTEIN ART GALLARY: a Unique exhibition is held every September

CHARACTIRISTIC HARBOUR: This fishing harbour was recently improved and a variety of pelagic fishing boats can be seen. 

HMS SYBILLE WRECK – 3400 TON
Royal Navy second class steel cruiser ran aground on 16 January 1901 off Lambert’s Bay, causing the death of the 20 year old Seaman W.H. Jones from Bristol. The propeller, which was hoisted from the sea by Diamond Divers, is housed at the Sandveld Museum. 

The remains of the wreck can be seen at low tide at the farm Steenbokfontein 9km south of Lambert’s Bay. 

English Cemetary – near the Sandveld Museum; Graves of two Englishmen who perished during the Ango-Boer War
